Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to engage our audience and promote our events.
- Create and edit engaging content for our website, social media channels, and email newsletters.
- Design and develop visual content, including social media tiles, fact sheets, and video content.
- Manage and maintain our website, including the Members Portal and Project Registry.
- Promote our events and collaborate with members, partners, and sponsors.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic and statistics, providing regular reports to the team.
- Identify trends and patterns in user behavior, making recommendations for improvements in web design and content.
- Monitor search engine activities and page ranking, advising on search engine optimization and implementing approved changes.
- Assist in managing paid Google Search and LinkedIn campaigns, reviewing and improving their effectiveness.
- Support our taskforces and working groups as needed.
- Provide communications support for key projects, including events, government grants, and research pieces.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and online advertising.
- Working knowledge of WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or similar applications.
- A passion for storytelling, strong organizational skills, and the ability to show initiative.
- Desired, but not essential: basic Adobe Suite knowledge.
- A relevant tertiary or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' professional experience in marketing, PR, or corporate communications.
