Information and Records Management Officer

This role is seeking an experienced Information and Records Management Officer to support the Business Management Directorate in delivering business and administrative support functions and services.

  • The successful candidate will develop and implement policies and procedures aligning with best practices, Defence, and Group level policy, and legislation.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on information and records management issues and provide expert advice.
  • Manage information repositories, internal information management platforms, data management, and knowledge management products.
  • Collaborate with the Business Management Directorate to deliver high-quality business and administrative support functions and services.

To be considered for this role, you will require qualifications and/or experience in information and records management, web management, and training delivery. A customer-centric approach with strong analytical skills and attention to detail is also essential.

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong initiative, sound practical judgment, and resilience are required to succeed in this role.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the Australian Government's Headquarters Joint Capability Division. The Business Management Directorate provides high-level support to the Division Head Joint Capabilities.
