You will be responsible for managing a team of dedicated Risk & Compliance Managers & Analysts and collaborating with the COO Management Team, Technology teams, Vendor Management, Continuous Improvement, and First Line Risk & Security to drive a cohesive risk culture and compliant practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective risk management frameworks and policies.
  • Conduct targeted reviews of specific areas in response to risk and compliance management information or requests from stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage their expectations and ensure timely delivery of risk and compliance-related responsibilities.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness throughout the COO Domain.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working in a risk or compliance team with or within a business unit in a role with risk or compliance responsibilities.
  • An understanding of risk and compliance management within the financial services industry and related regulatory standards.
  • An understanding of banking and finance operations, including wholesale banking.
  • Experience in managing and evaluating risk.
  • People management experience with a focus on coaching and team development highly regarded.
  • Excellent leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in managing stakeholders and engaging with senior management and business commercial teams.
