About the Role

Rabobank Australia is seeking a highly experienced Senior Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a critical role in driving and overseeing compliance incident management and breach reporting requirements across Australia.

This is a parental leave cover role for 12 months, providing an exciting opportunity for a senior compliance professional to take on hands-on responsibility and direct accountability for tasks and activities allocated. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver objectives, meet obligations, and manage compliance risks within our risk appetite.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 8+ years' experience in compliance gained within the financial services industry.
  • Prior experience as a people leader, with coaching and mentoring direct reports and broader teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in incident management and breach reporting, including hands-on experience in undertaking compliance breach assessments under ASIC and BCCC regimes.
  • Experience with risk and control practices and broader compliance requirements such as the Banking Code of Practice, client remediation, and complaints handling.
  • Proven experience in undertaking governance reporting.
  • A track record of writing and delivering technical training to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing key stakeholder relationships at a senior level.
