Role OverviewWe're seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Southbank, Melbourne. As a key member of our Infrastructure Engineering Network Infrastructure Development & Future Networks department, you'll be responsible for providing specialist technical leadership and support for engineering projects across our Development and Future Networks divisions.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact on the clean energy transition in Victoria. With a hybrid split between office and work-from-home arrangements, this role provides flexibility and work-life balance.
Job Description- Provide specialist technical advice and support for engineering projects, including design, construction, and asset management.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to manage project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and maintain high-quality design deliverables, including drawings and scope of works.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex engineering issues and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and value engineering to improve our network infrastructure.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Degree in Engineering or tertiary qualification with significant experience in utilities, design, and asset management.
- Prior experience in secondary engineering design and construction, with a strong understanding of business acumen and design excellence.
- NER (National Electricity Rules) certification.
- Extensive knowledge of secondary electrical equipment and Australian Standards (AS2067).
- Proven ability to develop conceptual plans into feasible designs and produce high-quality design deliverables.
