Culinary Support Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Support Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality meal services for residents in our aged care facility.

As a key member of our kitchen team, you will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and support the smooth running of daily meal services.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Maintaining a high level of safety and hygiene in the kitchen area

• Assisting in provision of balanced menus for clients and staff

• Ensuring adequate food stock and rotation of stored food

• Receiving food deliveries and ensuring prompt and correct storage

• Maintaining accurate records in accordance with the Vulnerable Persons Food Safety Program

• Ensuring the security of the kitchen area, food serving trolley, utensils, and keys

Requirements for Success:

Experience working in aged care would be an advantage. Knowledge and understanding of food hygiene and food safety are essential.

To ensure your suitability for this role, you will need to undertake a national police history check, referee checks, and work right checks.
