Marketing & Content Specialist

Crafting compelling marketing strategies and content plans is at the heart of this role. As a Marketing and Content Specialist, you will drive growth for our business by developing and executing unified marketing strategies that align with our business goals.

About the Position:

This senior marketing position requires a dual accountability approach: for our Marine business, you'll be responsible for crafting and executing a unified marketing strategy that aligns with our business goals. You'll dive deep into insights and data to support both short-term and long-term marketing objectives, driving the growth of our marine business.

You'll be responsible for creating annual content strategies and plans across Motorcycles, Power Equipment, and Marine businesses aligned to the business goals. This role requires a passionate and seasoned content specialist who knows the power of content to excite and engage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review objectives, strategies, and develop Marine and content marketing plans accordingly
  • Manage the retail marketing program
  • Collaborate with the website team to deliver the best experience and journeys for consumers
  • Develop process for assessing & reporting on performance, identifying gaps, and provide strategies to address the gaps
  • Lead the planning and creation of engaging, performance-driven content across Marine, Motorcycle, and Power Equipment businesses, collaborating with agencies, influencers, ambassadors, and content creators, and internal teams to support the full customer journey from awareness to ownership
  • Track and analyse content performance to shape future strategies
What You'll Bring:
  • 6+ years of experience in a Senior Marketing, Content, or Digital Marketing role
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Business, or related field of study
  • Proven experience in campaign management, retail marketing, and significant digital and content marketing expertise
  • Sound understanding of content marketing principles, content creation, creator marketplaces, demand generation, and budget management
  • Proven ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, and enhance business performance
  • Demonstrated experience in generating actionable insights from complex data sets
  • Extensive experience in managing advertising and media agencies
  • Strong project management, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of the industry is highly regarded, or a proven track record in franchising/retail industry
