Retail Crime Prevention Specialist

About the Role:
Myer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Crime Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Profit Protection team, you will be responsible for leading our Retail Loss Analytics team and developing strategies to reduce criminal activity across the Myer business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Retail Loss Analytics team to achieve retail loss objectives
- Develop and implement the Organised Retail Crime (ORC) program to protect Myer from elevated threats of criminal behaviour
- Minimise internal fraud risks by coaching and developing the Retail Loss Analytics Team Lead on tactics to reduce risk
- Manage investigations to deliver targeted results and focus on criminality
- Engage and influence external stakeholders, including police and centre security, to deliver the best possible outcome for the business
- Effectively engage internal stakeholders to drive awareness of criminal activity and ensure appropriate departments are involved in Retail Loss initiatives
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with 5+ years of experience in a similar region-based Loss Prevention leadership role, with a proven track record of success. You will have a strong understanding of ecommerce fraud and mitigation strategies, as well as experience managing POS exception reporting platforms. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence are critical to this role.
