Livestock Career Development Program
This is a comprehensive Livestock career development program designed for ambitious individuals. The program offers accelerated learning opportunities, professional networking, and placement mobility to support your growth within the industry.

Here are some of the key aspects of the program:
  • Livestock Skills:
  • Auctioneering, stock and station agency skills, livestock productivity, animal health and nutrition, Auctions Plus, wool technical and market requirements, and emerging technology.
  • Business Skills:
  • Compliance, sales, client relationship building, communication, marketing and social media, finance, problem-solving, negotiation, and team leadership.

The program includes in-house training, four leadership and skill-building workshops, on-the-ground experience, and mentorship from experienced employees and leaders. As a part of this program, you will have the opportunity to work in both saleyard and branch environments, developing effective selling and relationship-building techniques.

To be considered for this program, you should have a strong desire to learn and succeed in the Livestock industry, excellent customer service skills, and strong negotiation abilities. You should also have successful completion of Year 12, worked successfully for a minimum of 24 months within the Agricultural industry, ideally within Livestock, and be willing to relocate at the conclusion or throughout the program. Additionally, you should be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident, and be vaccinated or willing to receive the Q Fever vaccination. Finally, you should have the ability to work in a team environment, willingness to learn, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and leadership potential.
