As a skilled automation specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of business innovation by driving strategic initiatives and co-creating tailored solutions that address clients' unique challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Strategic Expertise: Cultivate deep knowledge of IBM's Automation Platform and maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape to drive informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to identify opportunities and develop customized solutions that leverage IBM's automation capabilities to drive business outcomes.
- Lead Sales Engagements: Lead sales conversations by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and navigating IBM's ecosystem to bring the right technical resources to the table.
- Champion Automation Capabilities: Articulate the value of IBM's automation capabilities to stakeholders across various industries and champion their adoption.

Objectives and Key Results (OKRs):
- Opportunity Identification & Pipeline Development: Identify and develop high-potential opportunities and grow the pipeline through targeted efforts.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve revenue targets across key offerings, including New Licence Transactional, Subscription Licence, Expert Labs Services, and SaaS licence offerings.
- Customized Client Experiences: Deliver tailored client experiences that meet their unique needs and drive long-term success.
- Deployment, Consumption, and Renewals: Drive successful deployment, consumption, and subscription renewals to ensure continued client satisfaction.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Automation Platform Expertise: Proven ability to articulate the value of platform-specific solutions through compelling product demonstrations, storytelling, and whiteboarding techniques.
- Technical Depth: Confidence and technical depth to position Red Hat OpenShift as a strategic architectural control point, effectively influencing deal outcomes.
- Local Ecosystem Understanding: Strong understanding of the local ecosystem and partner landscape, including partner capabilities, competencies, and market presence within the assigned territory.
- Pricing and Subscription Models: In-depth knowledge of pricing and subscription models, with the ability to structure financially sound and contractually viable proposals.
- Collaborative Selling: Demonstrated experience in collaborative selling, engaging cross-functional IBM teams early in the sales cycle to accelerate deal progression, tailor client experiences, and drive software adoption.
