About the Role

Bendigo Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Coding Educator/Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our Health Information Services, you will be responsible for educating and developing the Coding Services team to improve coding accuracy and provide professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education programs for the Coding Services team to enhance coding accuracy and skills
  • Coordinate and deliver the Trainee Clinical Coder Program to ensure successful onboarding and development of new team members
  • Audit records to ensure compliance with auditing programs and standards
  • Collaborate with the Finance and Resources Division to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and operational requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in clinical coding and auditing, with experience in education and training. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with the Finance and Resources Division to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and operational requirements.
