Job Overview

The Regulatory Specialist will provide product documentation, regulation and compliance information internally and externally to the business.

This position requires timely creation, maintenance and delivery of product documentation, registration and certifications as well as respond to customer requests to support overall business strategy.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Respond to compliance queries, providing guidance and recommendations to the Sales and Technical teams.
  • Manage external product registration and certification including Halal, Kosher, TGA.
  • Regular update of the regulatory databases, with data from suppliers, associations, customers, legislation
  • Capture, prioritise and track all requests from internal stakeholders and affiliate sites. Manage associated requests via online systems.
  • Prioritise and respond to product, compliance, regulatory and information queries from customers in timely manner.
  • Complete customer specific questionnaires and documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a science or related discipline preferred.
  • Several years of experience in providing regulatory and compliance information in food or beverage in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the application of Australian or New Zealand Food Standard.
  • Technical or Quality Experience preferred, but not required.
