Chief Technology Risk Officer

The role involves embedding risk management frameworks across technology teams, driving governance and ensuring alignment with the organization's Risk Management Strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Support risk management activities including incident reporting, regulatory change and obligation monitoring.
- Identify and escalate process and control improvement opportunities, enforcing thresholds and triggers.
- Develop technology risk profiles for Digital and Health Services Technology teams.
- Design and execute control testing plans to validate risk controls and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Lead remediation efforts for incidents and findings, leveraging insights to strengthen the control environment.
- Support risk uplift initiatives including implementation of new systems and risk-in-change processes.
- Tertiary graduate in Technology or relevant discipline.
- 8–10 years experience in Digital and Business Technology Risk, including risk-in-change roles.
- Strong assurance and governance expertise with deep understanding of risk, governance and quality assurance processes.
- Skilled in identifying emerging risks and presenting to senior management teams.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, highly organized and adaptable.
- Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
