Job Title: APS 5 Grants Manager

Hudson Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced APS 5 Grants Manager to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery of government-funded programs.

As an APS 5 Grants Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with funded organisations to ensure program delivery meets grant agreement requirements
  • Building relationships with stakeholders, including service providers, community groups, and government agencies
  • Gathering intelligence on program delivery to inform policy development and program re-design

You will work closely with the team to identify and resolve complex issues, ensuring alignment with government objectives and stakeholder needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and advise on legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor and manage performance, quality, and risk of the section
  • Supervise junior staff and provide coaching and development opportunities
  • Prepare and review correspondence, reports, and other documentation
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Previous leadership experience in administration, assessment, and compliance environments
  • Resilience and ability to handle tough conversations
  • Reliability and ability to work towards deadlines
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain or have Baseline security clearance
