About the Role

As a key member of our operations team, we are seeking an organised and proactive Maintenance Planner to support us in maintaining and optimising mobile mining equipment.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our underground mobile fleet by planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance schedules for underground mobile equipment.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance activities with mechanical trades, supervisors, and operations teams.
  • Maintain and update the CMMS with accurate job plans and work orders.
  • Identify and order required parts and materials to ensure work is completed efficiently.
  • Monitor equipment performance and maintenance trends to drive improvements in reliability and availability.
  • Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations in all planning activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance planning role within an underground or heavy industry environment.
  • Strong understanding of underground mobile mining equipment maintenance principles.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP, Pulse, or similar).
  • Trade qualification in mechanical, heavy diesel, or related field (preferred but not essential).
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
