Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team at St George Christian School. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments and interventions to students to identify and address learning and behavioral challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement strategies to support student learning and behavior.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to students, parents, and staff to promote social and emotional well-being.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date on best practices in school psychology to inform your work.

Requirements:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in school psychology or a related field.
  • Current certification or licensure as a school psychologist in the state of New South Wales.
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs and backgrounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.
