Fostering Case Worker Role Overview
Our team is seeking passionate individuals who are committed to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people.
This is a diverse role where no two days will be the same. Fostering Case Workers work autonomously and manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent interpersonal skills and building rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the quality of care provided to children and young people living in family-based placements.
- Coordinate referral and placement processes.
- Undertake initial and renewal carer assessments.
- Deliver carer recruitment, training, support and monitoring.
- Provide direct in-home and flexible support services to Foster and Kinship Carer families.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
You will have an empathetic nature, comprehensive knowledge of legislative requirements, and the ability to promote a culture of compliance.
