Cloud Solutions Architect Role

This position involves shaping and delivering strategies to build mind share and broad use of cloud services within strategic accounts.

The ideal candidate will represent well within a customer environment, drive discussions with senior personnel, and have a technical background to guide software developers and architects.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop deep expertise in cloud technologies and broaden knowledge of how applications and services are constructed on the cloud platform.
  • Craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
  • Built relationships with customers and partners, acting as a trusted technical advisor to influence stakeholders from technical teams to executives.
  • Accelerate adoption of cloud services as part of day-to-day work.
  • Act as a thought leader by educating others, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers/blogs, and running workshops.
  • Gather customer feedback and collaborate with engineering and service teams to shape product directions and services.
Key Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • Ability to lead complex technical projects that may require collaboration across multiple teams.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
  • Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers.
  • Ability to create proofs of concept, demos, and scripts from scratch or using reusable components.
