Key Responsibilities- Assist the cook and chef manager in preparing meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
- Engage with residents to create a positive dining experience, promoting social interaction and a sense of community.
- Clean and maintain kitchen and dining room areas, including all related equipment, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Work effectively with fellow team members to coordinate meal service and maintain a smooth operation.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards to prevent the risk of injury to yourself, colleagues, and residents.
- Previous experience in hospitality or kitchen environments.
- A genuine sense of care and compassion, especially during mealtimes.
- Ability to problem solve, work with limited supervision, and think on your feet.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A hardworking and flexible attitude with good availability.
