Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate contract works for road resurfacing, shared paths construction, and other maintenance and minor works
- Ensure day-to-day management of contracts is carried out effectively and efficiently, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
- Develop and implement strategies to improve contract management and administration
- Supervise contractors and employees to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address contract-related issues
- Diploma of Civil Engineering or related field
- Current unrestricted 'HR' (Heavy Rigid) class national driver's licence
- Current White Construction Card
- Current Certificate in Basic Worksite Traffic Management
- Significant experience in contract managed civil construction and maintenance
- Experience in contract management and administration
- Experience in supervising contractors and employees
- Working knowledge of labour, materials, and equipment estimating, budgetary preparation, and control
- Highly developed project planning, management, and procurement skills
- Highly developed interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Developed leadership skills to lead and motivate work groups
