Civil Engineering Leadership Position

At the City of Mandurah, we are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering professional to fill the position of Manager Technical Services. This role will involve leading and supporting a talented team of professionals to deliver subdivision and development functions, facilities management and development of related engineering projects.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline, experience in a senior management role, and highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Local Government experience is desirable.
This permanent full-time position offers a negotiated salary of up to $180,000 (inclusive of car allowance) plus superannuation, dependent on qualifications and experience. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.

- Lead and support a team of professionals to deliver engineering projects and services.
- Develop and implement plans to achieve business objectives.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community groups and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve our services.
As a Manager Technical Services at the City of Mandurah, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including subdivision and development functions, facilities management and development of related engineering projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring the survey, design, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure meet the requirements of the City.

- Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline.
