We are seeking an experienced Automotive Workshop Foreman to join our clients award-winning family-owned business in Warragul. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the automotive industry.

The Role
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your extensive knowledge of automotive systems to complete servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.
  • Workload Management: Manage the workload and flow through the workshop to maximize productivity.
  • Training and Development: Oversee the training and development of technicians and apprentices to enhance their skills and expertise.
  • Quality and Customer Satisfaction: Contribute to upholding our company's reputation for exceptional service by ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks: Operate our internal CRM system to manage client relationships and administrative tasks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Service Manager and Service Advisors to achieve common goals.
About You
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the automotive industry is essential.
  • Mentorship Skills: Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technical skills in a team environment is highly valued.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are critical to success in this role.
  • Certifications: Valid Automotive Technician Trade Certificate and current Driver's License are required. LVT and Automotive Air Conditioning Licence are highly desirable.
