Threat Mitigation Specialist

This role involves working with threat intelligence, detection & response, and application security teams to ensure preparedness in responding to real-world threats.

The focus of this role includes:

  • Designing and executing sophisticated threat scenarios to identify vulnerabilities and response gaps in our products, platforms, and infrastructure.
  • Conducting research on viable attack paths and demonstrating how risks may apply to us through stealth operations and collaborative purple team engagements.
  • Closely collaborating with security incident responders to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
  • Engaging with cross-functional teams to communicate risks, provide recommendations, and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to engineers conducting security assessments and vulnerability analysis.
  • Communicating operational outcomes at various business levels, including internal teams and the wider engineering organization.

We continually identify new attack techniques, review industry trends, and map out credible attack scenarios to test against our organization.
