Cyber Security Analyst role in Threat Intelligence and Incident Response
The ideal candidate will ensure business protection against cyber threats by implementing proactive security measures, rapid incident responses, and providing technical expertise as an escalation point.
- Assist in modeling new attack scenarios using Threat Intelligence to inform security strategies.
- Conduct investigations and analysis of cybersecurity incidents to develop effective action plans.
- Develop and expand tools for day-to-day operations activities and capabilities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to provide governance and security for existing and new services.
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge in information security principles including architecture, network & systems, cyber forensic, risk assessment, software development.
- Experience in communicating technical information to a non-technical audience without expertise.
- Actionable knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and NIST framework.
- Solid understanding of exploitable vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in penetration testing and automating manual processes for responding to cyber security incidents.
- Knowledge of Threat Intelligence, CERT/CSIRT activities, and SOAR solutions.
- GIAC certification such as GCFA, GREM, or GNFA.
