Job Title: Warehouse Operations Manager
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our warehouse team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of our warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, with experience in supervising teams, managing inventory, and coordinating logistics. You will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage the warehouse team to ensure all activities are performed efficiently.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Manage inventory levels, including damages and discrepancies.
- Organize and coordinate warehouse activities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor all incoming and outgoing transport.
- Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning and analysis.
- Mentor and guide the warehouse team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Proven experience in a similar role, overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse environment.
- Experience and knowledge in inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to direct and motivate a diverse team.
- A current Forklift license is required.
- Sound working knowledge of WH&S requirements.
- Excellent organization, time-management, and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
