
Regional Community Leadership Position

This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to lead a team of professionals in providing supportive, safe and trusted counselling services across a regional area.
Job Responsibilities:
Have oversight over all financial aspects, ensuring financial sustainability and delivery of strategic outcomes. Be responsible for day-to-day operational aspects of the organisation, ensuring organisational effectiveness, staff wellbeing, stakeholder engagement, and compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory obligations. Provide strong, values-based leadership that reflects a trauma-informed and client-centered ethos.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven executive leadership experience in a community, health, or human services organisation. Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed practice, child protection, domestic, family and sexual violence, and mental health. Strong financial acumen and experience in managing organisational budgets and funding arrangements. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Proven experience working with Management Committees/Boards and understanding of corporate and community compliance and governance. Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence in a diverse stakeholder environment. Postgraduate qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Business, or a related field. Current unrestricted driver's license. Lived experience or deep understanding of regional community issues, particularly impacting vulnerable populations.
