At the department of vocational education and training, we are seeking a highly motivated professional to provide quality advice and support on regional programs and services.
The Role- Provide leadership, support and guidance to industry partners, client groups and stakeholders on operational activities and initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team environment to support and oversee staff or work independently depending on operational needs.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, management and evaluation of regional activities, including strategic planning, system development, information management and governance processes.
We are looking for an applicant who can deliver high-quality, well-researched analysis, interpretation and feedback to senior managers, colleagues, clients and stakeholders on issues impacting vocational education and training. This includes areas such as apprenticeships, traineeships, stakeholder capacity building, and workforce development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, directives and policies by investigating issues and complaints, gathering data, and preparing accurate reports and other documentation.
- Lead, mentor and coach staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, ensuring development activities are aligned to achieving performance benchmarks.
- Conduct research, analyse information, and provide evidence-based recommendations on issues related to regional services and programs.
- Deliver projects, initiatives and services while fostering collaborative partnerships with diverse stakeholders, clients and customers across the VET sector.
