
Business Improvement Specialist

This position involves analysing current processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas for improvement. The role will work within a program implementing the future AustralianSuper member service model.
The jobholder will engage with business users to capture existing process and systems used, as well as any suggested improvements. This will involve designing and documenting future state processes using visual representations and identifying potential areas of optimisation.
Additional responsibilities include capturing regulatory obligations, business rules and operational controls within processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The jobholder must ensure usability of outputs across various stakeholder groups such as Risk and Knowledge Management and Operational/Service teams.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years' experience in Process Analyst role with proven experience in business improvement within financial services.
- Good interpersonal skills which foster cooperation and teamwork in a close team environment.
- An ability to work autonomously and pro-actively with minimum supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Working knowledge of risk management frameworks and an ability to link controls into process design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build effective internal business relationships.
