Occupational Therapist - Child and Family Health Service

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary Child and Family Health Service. As part of our team, you will provide evidence-based assessment and therapy intervention services to children aged 0-8 in a community health setting.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with families from diverse backgrounds. You will also have the ability to use a range of computer-based applications and be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and their families, and for contributing to the development of our service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing evidence-based assessment and therapy intervention services to children aged 0-8
  • Working effectively with families from diverse backgrounds
  • Using a range of computer-based applications to support client care
  • Contributing to the development of our service through collaboration with other team members

Requirements:

  • Recognised degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Current driver's licence valid within Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in providing Paediatric Occupational Therapy services
  • Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with families to provide effective intervention for children
