Environmental Professional

Our organization is seeking a skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and assessing environmental data, conducting field investigations and sampling, and assisting with reports.

The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in environmental science, hydrogeology, geology, or environmental engineering, along with minimum 12 months of Australian experience in contaminated land management. They should also have a working knowledge of relevant NSW Environmental legislation and national technical frameworks.

  • Conduct field investigations and sampling (soil, groundwater, surface water)
  • Manage and assess environmental data
  • Assist with reports (PSIs, DSIs, RAPs)
  • Contribute to proposals, bids, and costings
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, auditors, and internal teams
  • Help prepare SWMS and ensure smooth site delivery

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of contaminated land management and remediation projects
  • Collaborating with experienced staff and EPA accredited Contaminated Land Auditor
  • Developing innovative approaches to solving client problems
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications from a recognized institution in environmental science, hydrogeology, geology, or environmental engineering
  • Australian experience in contaminated land management
  • Working knowledge of NSW Environmental legislation and national technical frameworks
