Contaminated Land Specialist

This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Contaminated Land Consultant to join our team. As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for managing projects from investigation through to remediation and validation.

You will work closely with clients and regulators to deliver high-quality results, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal of providing exceptional service to our clients.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from investigation through to remediation and validation
  • Deliver PSI / DSI / RAP / validation reporting across infrastructure, energy, and government sites
  • Liaise with clients and regulators to ensure compliance
  • Oversee junior consultants and support their development
  • Lead your own portfolio and bring a sense of ownership to your work

Requirements:

  • 6–8 years of experience in contaminated land consulting
  • Strong field, reporting, and client-facing experience
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or similar
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs and keep projects moving

About the Role:

This is an end-to-end contaminated land role where you will manage projects from investigation through to remediation and validation. You will work across a range of public and private sector projects, including Sydney Trains panel work, groundwater monitoring for Defence in NSW and ACT, remediation and investigations for Sydney Water D4C, plus high-profile sites like Sydney Airport and Ausgrid.
