**Job Title:** Transformation Communications Specialist

**Location:** Brisbane CBD

**Type:** 6-month contract with possible extension

**Salary:** $936/day including super

The Transformation Communications Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring clear and effective communication about the program to the QLD Government Agency. This position focuses on informing, educating, and motivating staff while implementing modern communication strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to embed these practices across the program.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement change communications and engagement plans for large-scale projects in complex public sector environments.
  • Collaborate with project teams to design and deliver organisation-wide change communications aligned with change management methodology.
  • Create engaging content for digital services and social media platforms, including writing quickly and accurately, managing risk, and thinking strategically.
  • Apply best practice approaches and frameworks in transformation communication and engagement to drive business integration and project success.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand change management and project management methodologies, as well as business integration processes and strategies.
  • Manage competing priorities, take initiative to solve issues, and build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and distribute organisation-wide change communications, including communicating sensitive and complex messages.

**Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading change communications and engagement on large-scale projects in complex public sector organisations.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrated understanding of copyright principles and practices.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, think strategically, and take initiative to solve issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
