Job Overview

About the Role

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure financial transparency, manage budgets, and enhance cost-effectiveness across core business operations.

You will lead a small team responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support the company's long-term financial health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics, to senior leadership.

  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to provide financial guidance on key initiatives, investment opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to support commercial decision-making.
  • Drive cost control initiatives by monitoring expenses, identifying areas for savings, and implementing financial best practices.
  • Ensure transparency in cost allocation across business units.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a direct report, fostering a high-performance finance function.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and encourage professional growth.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance financial processes, reporting tools, and internal controls.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, corporate policies, and risk management frameworks.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are seeking a CA/CPA qualified finance professional with 6+ years' experience, including business partnering and financial analysis.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to liaise and build rapport with senior stakeholders and manage direct reports.

Experience working with large, complex structures and proven ability to meet tight reporting deadlines is highly desirable.

A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset is required.

Advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills (ERP Systems, Business Intelligence Tools, Excel) are also necessary.
