Job Opportunity for Experienced Midwife

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Midwife to join our team of dedicated professionals.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on our antenatal ward, in our Maternity Assessment unit, our Birthing Suites, Postnatal ward, Cesarean lists and/or in our beautifully renovated Special Care Nursery.

To succeed in this role, you will need to bring a genuine interest in caring for women and their family through the various stages of pregnancy, childbirth and postnatal care. You will be an experienced midwife with excellent communication skills and enjoy working in an inclusive and vibrant environment that values and supports our diverse families.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality woman-centered care in the antenatal, intrapartum and post-natal periods.
  2. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  3. Provide education and support to women and their families during the prenatal and postnatal periods.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to maternity care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Midwife qualification.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Experience working in a similar role or within the healthcare sector.
