Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level strategic advice to senior management and clients to support the implementation of educational strategies.
  • Develop resources to support key initiatives in reading, literacy, and early years education.
  • Conduct research and consultation with stakeholders to inform resource development and ensure alignment to policy.
  • Contribute to briefing materials, submissions, papers, reports, communications, and correspondence.
  • Manage projects guided by the Education Strategy Equity and Excellence: Realising the potential of every student.
  • Liaise with and build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

About You

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Knowledge of education initiatives and policies.
  • Deep understanding of curriculum practices and evidence-informed best practice approaches.
  • Practical experience in explicit instruction for teaching reading and writing.
  • Understanding of a school setting using MTSS as a framework for teaching reading and writing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of reading assessments, including universal screeners.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and achieve required outcomes.
  • Capacity to engage with various stakeholders.
  • High-level written and oral communication skills.
