Job Description

We are seeking an experienced civil engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing design requirements, conducting site investigations, performing calculations, modeling, overseeing drafting, and preparing reports and specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related field
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
  • Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design-related risks
  • Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects
  • A commitment to working safely and within our HSEQ systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences
