About The Role

We are seeking a driven and motivated individual to join our organization as a Key Account Manager based in Bendigo.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing some of our largest customers' existing accounts, winning new business and expanding our customer base. You understand teamwork is critical to achieving this success. Working in conjunction with the Sales Manager, you will help drive a culture of work smarter not harder, through innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiencies.

The main focus for this role is driving new business opportunities in order for the organization to grow. You will be highly motivated and target driven to get results.

To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Responsibilities
  • Manage some of our largest customer accounts, win new business and expand the customer base.
  • Drive new business opportunities to support branch growth.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to promote innovation, continuous improvement, and efficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

You will have a genuine passion for listening to our customers' needs, and providing the best solutions.

Prior experience in the building and construction industry is valued but not essential. If you have the drive to succeed, a willingness to learn, and a solid work ethic, please apply.

Qualifications
  • Excellent business development skills
  • A passion for customer service and building rapport with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident working autonomously and within a team
  • Well versed in stakeholder management
  • Resilience and competitiveness in a highly competitive market
  • Experience in reinforcing steel is a plus, but a background in concrete, construction, or building materials is highly valued
