The Opportunity

There is an opening for a Principal Civil Engineer to join our national water business in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have experience in water and wastewater design for conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, and water facilities.

This role involves providing solutions and services to clients both on and off site.

About You

You will be a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a strong understanding of water/wastewater industry standards and best practices.

A high level of technical expertise, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team are essential qualities for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing detailed designs and analysis for civil engineering projects.
  • Scoping and developing engineering work packages including time-based estimates for deliverables.
  • BUILDING AND STRENGTHENING CLIENT CONNECTIONS through trusted technical advice.
  • UNDERSTANDING CLIENT NEEDS and ensuring that services meet expectations.
  • COLLABORATING WITH OTHER DISCIPLINES to bring together the best technical expertise from across the business.
