About the Role

We are seeking an individual to work in a residential care setting, providing direct support and care to young people. The role involves assisting residents with daily tasks, teaching life skills, and promoting social and emotional development.

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrate resilience and problem-solving skills, and possess a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support and care to young people residing in our homes
  • Teach life skills and promote social and emotional development
  • Assist with household duties and complete daily case notes
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care) or equivalent
  • Valid and current driver's licence
  • Workers With Children's Check and NDIS Workers Screeners Check
  • Awareness of Aboriginal culture and values, and understanding of current issues faced by Aboriginal children and families
