Role Overview

Mental Health Clinician - Child and Youth Triage Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team as a Mental Health Clinician, providing expert triage services to infants, children, and young people.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake comprehensive phone assessments with individuals and families to identify their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and referrals
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our Child and Youth Triage service, leveraging expertise to drive improvements in quality and efficiency
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to colleagues, acting up as Team Lead when required
What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a qualified clinician with expertise in mental health triage and treatment, particularly in working with infants, children, and young people.

  • A relevant qualification in nursing or a related field
  • Significant experience in mental health triage and treatment, preferably in a child and youth-focused setting
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and families
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
