About This Leadership Position

The Deputy Principal: Teaching role is a senior management position that involves leading and managing teaching and learning across the organisation.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Strong understanding of Catholic education values and ethos
  • Commitment to student safety and wellbeing
  • Able to foster professional relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Collaborative leadership style with flexibility and creativity
  • Lifelong learner who fosters growth in others
  • Extensive knowledge of instructional design and pedagogy
  • Ability to gather and analyse data to improve teacher pedagogy and student outcomes
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills

This is a full-time ongoing position with additional responsibilities as Religious Education leader.

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Catholic faith and commitment to Catholic education
  • Leadership experience in a school setting
  • Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Academic qualifications beyond initial teacher education
  • Relevant educational experience, including classroom teaching and leadership positions
