The position will commence Term 1, 2026.Applicants are also required to:be Catholic (a certificate of one of the sacraments will be required)demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education, and an understanding of the leadership role in Catholic educationdemonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of childrenhave experience in a formally appointed leadership role within a Catholic Educationhave current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teachinghave academic qualifications additional to initial teacher education (Master's degree or five year equivalent)have relevant, appropriate and substantial educational experience, including classroom teaching and leadership positionshave relevant experience within the last five (5) years in Catholic parish primary schools, or currently in a role associated with and supporting Catholic parish primary schoolsbe accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic schoolFor applicants to be considered for this role, they will need to carefully read the role descriptions of:* Deputy Principal/Teaching and Learning* Religious Education leaderA one page letter outlining the applicant's reasons and interests for applying for this position, which can outline any leadership experience in the Teaching and Learning and Religious Education spheres needs to be attached.Applicants will also be required to reflect and complete the attached Deputy Principal application, which is based on the AITSL Leadership Standard profile.
