Part-Time Contracts Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Contracts Specialist to join our APAC team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growth and driving positive impact.

Job Description

This part-time role involves working with our leadership team on all commercial contract matters, identifying areas for improvement, and negotiating with clients and suppliers. You will be responsible for drafting commercial contracts, managing contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with Australian laws and regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate with clients and suppliers, liaising with internal sales and accounts teams.
  • Draft and manage commercial contracts, including client and supplier agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian laws and regulations, particularly in relation to privacy and data protection.
  • Manage multiple complex projects, ensuring accuracy, attention to detail, and timely execution.
  • Develop and deliver legal training programs to support internal teams on contract management and compliance best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of Australian contract law and its application in a commercial setting.
  • Proven experience in managing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
  • Experience advising on legal risks, drafting policies, and ensuring compliance in commercial agreements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
Benefits

We offer a flexible, hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to choose how you work your 18-20 hours across five days or condensed into three. You will also have access to our office and be required to join us in person at least one day per week.

Interview Process

The interview process will consist of four stages:

  1. Telephone interview with our Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, APAC.
  2. First-stage online interview with our Group Retail Director and our Head of Sales.
  3. Take-home presentation task.
  4. Final-stage face-to-face interview with our APAC Managing Director, Sales Director, Australia, and our UK Head of Legal.
