About The Lifestyle Assistant Role
  • Encourage residents' choice and participation in individual and group activities, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design, deliver and monitor lifestyle services and activities that cater to residents' diverse needs and interests.
  • Implement innovative events and activities for residents and their community, promoting social interaction and personal growth.
  • Provide direct resident care during activities such as bus trips and meal service, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.
  • Support peers and maintain a cooperative team spirit, working together to achieve common goals.
Key Requirements
  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to older adults.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude, enabling effective collaboration with residents, families and colleagues.
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • Able to establish professional relationships with residents and their families, built on trust, respect and empathy.
  • A reliable team player, committed to contributing to a supportive and inclusive work environment.
