About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Coffs Harbour. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to customers, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Assist customers with meal preparation, shopping, and domestic assistance to ensure they have a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping customers to stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional development, participating in training and education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, with a willingness to ask for help when needed.
