Job Title: Home Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and assistance with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers, providing a listening ear and a helping hand when needed.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, ensuring they can access essential services and maintain their independence.

Requirements:
  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel to customers' homes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
