About This Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced support worker to join our team in the Gold Coast area. As a support worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients, providing them with the support and care they need to maintain their independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing home help services such as general housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Supporting clients with mobility and therapy goals, including assisting with complex care needs
  • Providing social and emotional support to clients and their families
  • Transporting clients to appointments and activities

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
  • At least 6 months experience in a similar role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications
  • A valid Australian Driver's Licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle
