Job Summary

We are seeking a Production Operations Manager to develop and maintain efficient daily and weekly production schedules for lubricant blending, filling, and packaging operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and issue short-term (daily/weekly) production schedules for blending and packaging.
  • Sequence production runs to optimize line efficiency, minimize changeovers, and meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Review production planning systems to ensure base oils, additives, and packaging materials are available for scheduled production.
  • Manage and execute raw material call-offs in alignment with the production plan to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with supply chain planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to resolve material shortages and align plans with manpower and equipment capacity.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and escalate risks to the planning team or customer deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and track key performance indicators (schedule adherence, service levels, downtime impact).
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in production scheduling, planning, or supply chain coordination (preferably in lubricants, chemicals, or FMCG).
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
  • ERP/MRP proficiency (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards) for production scheduling.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles (materials planning, inventory control, lead times).
  • Ability to analyze data (Excel/Power BI) and translate into actionable production plans.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; problem-solving for scheduling challenges.
