Financial Advisory Director Opportunity

This is a challenging role for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Financial Advisory team as a senior leader in Brisbane.

We are looking for a professional with extensive experience in financial modelling for large corporate groups, who can prepare and critique complex financial models. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building strong relationships with key stakeholders and driving the success of a high-performing team.

  • Manage day-to-day operations and drive performance to ensure tasks are kept on track and client expectations met.
  • Mentor and train team members to help them develop their skills and reach their full potential.
  • Assist in driving growth by leading client engagements, specifically valuations and due diligence.
  • Leverage analyst support to prepare financial models relating to investments, transactions, earnings, valuations, comparisons, and conduct review of financial models with a focus on output.

The role involves liaising with various stakeholders on behalf of clients and senior leaders, preparing clear, specific, well-presented, and easy-to-understand workpapers and reports, and attending industry events and networking with clients, service providers, and referrers.

About you:

  • Degree in Finance related discipline.
  • CPA/CFA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Strong financial analysis skills gained from 4 or more years' experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial modelling for large corporate groups with an ability to prepare and critique complex financial modelling.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including giving feedback and direction to junior team members and contributing to driving the success of a high-performing team.
  • Client focused with a proven track record of building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • An ability to show initiative and accountability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess the risks for clients before decision making.
