Clinical Nurse Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team, providing advanced nursing care and case management for clients with complex health needs in various community settings.

  • Develop and implement individualised health plans, ensuring optimal outcomes through evidence-based interventions and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Train and assess unlicensed healthcare workers to safely deliver delegated healthcare in education, childcare, and respite environments.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nurses and colleagues statewide involved in the Encompass program, fostering professional growth and continuity of care.
  • Contribute to clinical research, change management initiatives, and development of protocols and service delivery improvements.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Registered Nurse/Midwife with current registration and practising certificate with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience with proven competence in relevant clinical nursing or midwifery practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to problem-solve, resolve conflicts, and work effectively in teams.
  • Ability to manage priorities independently, meeting deadlines while working under minimal supervision.
  • Sound knowledge of healthcare standards, legislation, ethics, and contemporary nursing and quality improvement practices.
